Etherealism
In 2015 I coined my art style as Etherealism. In 2025, I fleshed this style out to bring my collectors a more unified body of work. This unique approach aims to bridge the divide between seen and unseen worlds, between the physical and spiritual realms all living beings occupy. I aim to enchant the viewer with rich depictions of dappled light and a sense of wonder.

Professional Experience, Focus, and Representation
My work has enjoyed extensive representation and has been exhibited in juried shows in many art galleries and other high profile professional spaces, exhibitions, contests, and even a few museums, dating back to 1999 in both South Africa and the USA. You can view my full resumé here
Most of my success as a professional artist up to recently can be contributed to my adaptability in terms of commissioned work, which spans an array of themes, styles, and mediums. From murals to fine art paintings, from drawings to resin art to oil paintings, I have consistently been a prolific artist over the years.
Well versed in working within the industry, having extensively served across the spectrum, from private collectors, interior designers, decorators, and corporate clients, to art galleries, I am currently aiming to focus mostly on building business-to-business relationships in the fine art-specific sectors of the industry.

Etherealism, and my voice as a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation and humanitarian rescue efforts globally, I am ready to step up into new artistic adventures and to keep delivering my collectors with the quality and excellence of service I am already known for.

Art Exhibitions, Events, and Trailblazing Initiatives
I owned a brick and mortar art gallery in San Carlos, California and then in Boise, Idaho for several years. The gallery represented my work and the work of other regionally and nationally esteemed fine artists. In 2024 I took my gallery fully online. Through Avianne International Gallery of Fine Art, my long-term goal is to build a platform for myself and other professional artists to self-represent new collections, current projects and exhibitions.
