"My affinity for scenic art stems from my early days as a muralist. I am especially fond of working in large scale. My scenic works have expressive qualities and are often vast depictions of my inner world. Koi fish seem to surface often in these works. I cannot provide a logical reason for it, but I think it is their neverending movement, other-wordly mysteriousness, and dreamlike appearance that draw me in." - Avianne
